 Memphis Kee is an Austin-based country-rock artist known for his gritty “Shred Dirt” sound, blending Texas country, Red Dirt, rock, blues, and Americana. Shaped by a past life as a police detective and private investigator, his music delivers raw, real-world storytelling. Leading a five-piece band featuring Spencer Carlson, Paul Pinon, and Joey Sisk, Memphis writes heartfelt songs about love, loss, and life, drawing influences from artists like Robert Earl Keen and the Turnpike Troubadours. Their new album, Dark Skies, reflects both the uncertainty of today’s world and the hope beyond it, proving that even when clouds roll in, there’s always a brighter horizon ahead.
